MI Recovery PLC – Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions matter, so please share them—we’re happy to answer.

Getting Started

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy works. If life feels heavy, stressful, or confusing—or if addiction is getting in the way—we can help. Your first session will show you exactly how we can support you.

What happens in the first session?
We get straight to work. You’ll share your goals, we’ll review your history, and together we’ll map out a plan. Your questions are answered, and by the end, you’ll know exactly what to expect.

How long are sessions?
Sessions are 55 minutes—enough time to work, reflect, and move forward.

How do I make an appointment?
It’s simple. Fill out our contact form or call us directly. We have daytime and evening slots for teens and adults (12+), and we make sure you get a time that fits your life.

Do you offer online or in-person therapy?
Yes. You choose in-person, online, or a combination. We make therapy accessible on your terms.

How is therapy personalized?
We don’t do cookie-cutter solutions. We use proven methods like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, tailored specifically to your goals, strengths, and circumstances.
